She graduated from the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy with advanced studies in Physical Therapy.

LMBT (Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist)
A person must be licensed as a massage and bodywork therapist (LMBT) by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy before they begin to practice massage and bodywork therapy in the State of North Carolina.
To be licensed, a person must have successfully completed a minimum of 500 hours of massage and bodywork therapy education at a school approved by the Board. The person must also pass a Massage and Bodywork Therapy Licensing Exam approved by the Board, submit an application for licensure to the Board along with statements of moral character from four (4) licensed healthcare professionals, undergo a criminal background check, and pass an exam on the North Carolina Massage and Bodywork Therapy Practice Act and Rules of the Board.
