CBD is all the rage!

CBD has many benefits, and can be used as a natural alternative for some people.

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. Cannabidioil is derived from the hemp plant, not the marijuana plant like some may think. There have been some concerns around this alternative, like can it produce a high? While some CBD products can contain traces of THC (the component that produces a high) it cannot be more than the legal amount for your state. In North Carolina, the legal amount is .3%. So no, you cannot get high from this product. It is important to read about the laws of the state you live in before making a purchase.

Most Popular CBD Usages

One of the most popular uses is to manage or reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. CBD can also be used as a natural remedy for pain relief.  A common ailment like arthritis or headaches can be easily managed with the right product. This natural alternative is becoming very popular but it’s important to do research about what you purchase. In other words, Cannabidiol is not FDA regulated and studies are still being done in reference to its benefits.

Personal Experience

I get headaches that eventually turn into migraines almost weekly. I read about how CBD is a natural pain relieve and wanted to try it for my headaches. At first, I used 300mg of CBD daily to see if that helps. Then I went up to 600mg. It has done WONDERS. I was curious if maybe it was a placebo type situation so I stopped taking the CBD for a few weeks and therefore my headaches became terrible again. As a result, I am a total believer that it works and highly recommend it to anyone who has been curious. Give it a try for yourself!
